Financial aid in the range of $50 - $200 per child will be granted from the John Carter “High Five” Youth Hockey Fund and the Christopher J. Paskell Memorial Fund. Due to limited funds, not every applicant will receive a scholarship.
FINAL REMINDER: Uniform Fittings Are Now Available
TCYHA Squirts, Peewees, and Bantams,
Please remember to bring your shoulder pads for the fitting to ensure an accurate fit! Please ensure that you have registered and been fitted before 7/31.
Uniform fittings are now available by visiting the NEPA/Blue Heron showroom in Leominster at 300 Hamilton St. Their store is open from 9am to 5pm weekdays and 9am to 12pm on Saturdays. All Squirt, Peewee, and Bantam players are required to have a pair of uniforms, home and away, for the upcoming season. If you already have uniforms that fit, you are all set. If not, here is the process you must follow.
Print out a copy of your confirmation email and take it with you to the NEPA showroom for your fitting.
You will be fitted and recorded to ensure that you end up with the correct uniforms and numbers.
If you have any questions, please respond to TCYHA and not NEPA. They are fulfilling our orders, but are not involved with payment or number selection.
The cutoff date for uniform fittings is July 31. Please plan accordingly. If you are unable to be fitted before then you may not have uniforms in time for the start of the season. Please let us know immediately if this is a problem.
All Squirt, Peewee & Bantam players are required to have a pair of jerseys (home and away) for the upcoming season. If you already have a pair of jerseys that still fit, you are all set and need not do anything.
If you are a new player or a returning player who requires new jerseys, we are asking you to register online using the Travel Team Uniforms 2014 program on our website. During the registration process, you will be asked to indicate if you are a new player or are a returning player in need of a new number. Number availability will be determined individually with families. We are also asking that you enter your current number during the registration process. If you don't have a number or aren't sure, don't worry, we will be cross-referencing against our existing database. Do not attempt to change your number via the current number form field.
Uniforms must be purchased online. Fittings will be handled in person at the NEPA/Blue Heron store in Leominster at 300 Hamilton St in Leominster.
Uniforms must be ordered in pairs, one home jersey, and one away jersey. Cost will the $116 for the pair. Please pay online via credit card if possible. If paying by check to the PO box, uniforms will not be ordered until payment is received.
You will receive an email detailing hours when you will be able to visit the NEPA/Blue Heron showroom at 300 Hamilton St in Leominster for a fitting. Please provide them with your name and we will take care of making sure you receive the proper assigned number behind the scenes. Please wait until you receive an email before visiting the showroom.
New Members -- Import your schedule into Google Calendar
Many of you already are doing so, but for those who have not yet, here is a video explaining how you can add your team's schedule directly into your Google Calendar so that it is available on your Android smart phone or computer.
Welcome new members. There have been many questions recently on accessing schedules for your team, particularly from new players in either No Player Left Behind, Learn to Skate, and House Hockey. Accessing your schedule is easy.
To do so, use the Team menu above in the horizontal navigation menu. From there, choose select Choose a Team, your division, and then your team. For example, U11 No Player Left behind would be Team -> No Player Left Behind -> U11 NPLB.
You will also begin to receive email notifications approximately two days before each scheduled practice or game. The email will let you know the date, time, and rink that you will be at. For those that are new, there are two rinks at the Civic Center, Gaetz and Landry. The Gaetz is the rink closest to the street. Landry is next to the Gaetz and is separated by the parking lot.
We would like to briefly address our injury policy.
In the players' best interests, any injury that results in a player missing games or receiving treatment by a physician requires a clearance note from a physician before the player will be allowed back on the ice. This note will also serve to close out the accident form that is generated at the time of injury, and will be kept in confidence.
While we do not wish to place an additional burden on you, such prudence is required for the long-term health of all of our children.
Thank you for your cooperation.
If you have any questions, please contact your division director or the players representative in person, or email the appropriate one at:
