Now that the snow has arrived, this is a reminder of our Snow Cancellation Policy. Due to the high cost of ice time, rinks typically remain open except in the following conditions.
A state of emergency is in effect.
Power is lost to the rink.
In the event of these situations, we will do our best to inform you ahead of time. Attempts will be made to reschedule canceled games and practices, but it is not always possible due to ice availability.
Even though rinks may be open and scheduled events will be held, families should use their own judgement in terms of travel conditions. If you are unable to attend a game or practice, please inform your coach.
Mark your calendars!!! TCYHA, along with our Bantam 1 Team, are hoping you can join us to support our Bantam 1 goalie, Zach Sidilau, who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Zach and his family have shown amazing resolve, strength, and spirit throughout this journey and have taught many of us what it means to fight.
We will be hosting an adult only evening of entertainment at Great Wolf Lodge on Friday, 1/6/17 starting at 7:00. The night will kick off with a comedy show provided by two comedians, followed by a DJ and dancing. There will be plenty of great items to bid on or take your chances with a raffle. Each TCYHA team is generously donating a gift basket (if you have not heard from your Coach on this front yet, please ask…each team is doing a themed basket), as well as many donations we have received from our community partners. Enjoy an entire night out and book a room! Great Wolf Lodge is offering special pricing for our event guests of $129 for a Deluxe Queen Suite. This must be reserved with Great Wolf Lodge directly(978-343-9653) by 12/8/16 to receive the discounted rate.
Our goal is for this to be a very successful event, as well as a fun night for our parents and community, but need your help to make this happen. Tickets are $25 and are being distributed to coaches this week to get out to their respective teams. We are asking each player to sell at least two tickets if possible. Any checks can be made payable to TCYHA. If you need additional tickets, would like to make a donation, or know someone or a business who would like to donate, please contact Valerie Martin at

Thank you from the bottom of our hockey family hearts for your support!
Twin City will be entering a Middle School team into the Valley Middle School Hockey League for the 2016-2017. Middle School Hockey is a competitive hockey league for 7th and 8th graders that supplements the existing travel program. Middle School Hockey is not a beginner program. It is intended for travel team players, but is not limited to those players that are currently registered with Twin City. Middle School games play by high school rules and include checking.
The season will consist of approximately 12 to 14 games, typically held Sunday nights. Valley does their best to ensure that Middle School games do not conflict with your regular schedule, but cannot always guarantee results. We expect the season to start near the end of November or early December.
Interested players should Register Online via our website. Cost for the season is $350. Space is limited, so please register soon.

New Members -- Import your schedule into Google Calendar
Many of you already are doing so, but for those who have not yet, here is a video explaining how you can add your team's schedule directly into your Google Calendar so that it is available on your Android smart phone or computer.
Welcome new members. There have been many questions recently on accessing schedules for your team, particularly from new players in either No Player Left Behind, Learn to Skate, and House Hockey. Accessing your schedule is easy.
To do so, use the Team menu above in the horizontal navigation menu. From there, choose select Choose a Team, your division, and then your team. For example, U11 No Player Left behind would be Team -> No Player Left Behind -> U11 NPLB.
You will also begin to receive email notifications approximately two days before each scheduled practice or game. The email will let you know the date, time, and rink that you will be at. For those that are new, there are two rinks at the Civic Center, Gaetz and Landry. The Gaetz is the rink closest to the street. Landry is next to the Gaetz and is separated by the parking lot.
