Uniform fittings for Squirt, Peewee, and Bantam will be conducted on Tuesday July 26 at the NEPA/Blue Heron showroom on 297 Hamilton St in Leominster. Please note that they have moved since last season, but are basically across the street from where the old showroom was located.
All Squirt, Peewee, and Bantam players are required to have a pair of uniforms (home and away). If you are a returning player and your uniforms still fit, it is not necessary to purchase another pair. If you are in need of a uniform, you must register online and attend the fitting on July 26.
Uniform prices remain unchanged from last season and are $115. Please Register Online via our website before attending your fitting. All players new to the organization or otherwise in need of a number will be assigned at the fitting.
Players should remember to bring their shoulder pads to ensure a proper fitting!
We have opened U6 and U8 Mite registration. U6 Mite is for players aged 5 and 6 in 2016 and U8 Mite is for players aged 7 and 8 in 2016. We will keep our format from the previous season.
U6 Mites in 2016-2017 will be a half-ice, local league program. Practices will be once a week starting in November and twice a week from December to February, totaling about 32 practices. Weekly, cross-ice games are planned between TCYHA and Groton for about 16 games including 6 or 7 in Fitchburg.
U8 Mites in 2016-2017 will be a half-ice, local league plus full sheet games in the Westborough league. Practices will be once a week starting in October and twice a week from December to February, totaling about 38 practices. Weekly, cross-ice games are planned between TCYHA and Groton (about 16) plus full-sheet games in the Westborough league (10 games plus playoffs) starting part way through the season.
Due to positive response, we have worked to allow more players into the Mite program for the 2016-2017 season, but we ask that you register as soon as possible so that we're able to gauge how many teams we will need for the season.
Please Register Online using our website and let us know if you have any questions.
New Members -- Import your schedule into Google Calendar
Many of you already are doing so, but for those who have not yet, here is a video explaining how you can add your team's schedule directly into your Google Calendar so that it is available on your Android smart phone or computer.
Welcome new members. There have been many questions recently on accessing schedules for your team, particularly from new players in either No Player Left Behind, Learn to Skate, and House Hockey. Accessing your schedule is easy.
To do so, use the Team menu above in the horizontal navigation menu. From there, choose select Choose a Team, your division, and then your team. For example, U11 No Player Left behind would be Team -> No Player Left Behind -> U11 NPLB.
You will also begin to receive email notifications approximately two days before each scheduled practice or game. The email will let you know the date, time, and rink that you will be at. For those that are new, there are two rinks at the Civic Center, Gaetz and Landry. The Gaetz is the rink closest to the street. Landry is next to the Gaetz and is separated by the parking lot.
Just a few of the reasons that make TCYHA the right choice...
